I really care about my girlfriend and I love her dearly and smoking is a huge turnoff for me mainly because I want her to live a long and healthy life. She doesn't smoke around me. If she were smoking cigarettes and I went to kiss her would I be able to taste it? I kiss her all the time and its "making out" not just a peck on the lips? Would someone be able to taste the breath of a marijuana smoker? Thanks!

Yes for both. You will taste it even if she is using breathmints. You will also smell it on her. Also check the color of her fingers on her"smoking hand" they will have yellow discoloration on them which happens with daily smoking.

Depending on your smell and taste sensitivity, along with her efforts to cover and mask her breath - maybe. Sounds like you've not so far suspected it via scent, yet you're still suspicious. How come? Have you asked her if she smokes cigarettes or pot? That might be the best way to go about it, rather than a public forum. And, not to dismiss your concerns or anything, but smoking doesn't make someone a bad person, or necessarily mean that they are unhealthy. If she's not overweight, is active, and happy, be thankful she likes the pot more than the Big Macs. Obesity will kill her before Mary Jane does.

You won't miss the smell of either cigarettes or the mouthwash she uses to try to cover up the smokes.
Quitting smoking or any addiction is very hard. One thing for sure, she is not going to quit because you say so. She will quite when SHE wants to.
Don't make her feel guilty. She is struggling more than you think.

I don't smoke, but I have friends that do, & I have kissed guys that do. I'm not so sure about marijuana, but I know that with cigarettes, you can smell it all the time, but you taste it mostly after they have JUST had one. And you can definately smell it in their breath when they breath.
again, I'm not sure about marijuana, but I would think that marijuana has a smell and taste, so you would prolly be able to smell it and taste it if she just smoked some before you kissed her.

No, not really. But 'smoke' from cigs can really catch onto clothing, dis-color the eyes, fingernails, and such. Their breath and teeth are dis-colored, too if you noticed. So if you catch a hint of odd smelling stuff, like a strong scent of something, (sorry I can't explain stuff) maybe it's cigs. I dont' know if you can 'taste' it, but you can smell the stuff and it doesn't smell pretty at all.

generally yes. My gf smoked once and I smelled it 2 days later when i kissed her.
