I just believe that their is a lot things that are taught about god that is wrong

We need more information.
An Agnostic believes God can't be defined/understood by mortals.
You may also be a free thinker, which means you come to your opinions on your own and they may or may not match conventional wisdom.

There is a God and he left a record of his interaction with mankind all through history, he parted the red sea, you have heard about that, same God, you have heard that he had a great flood and Noah his child survived, same God, if you read the Bible you will see him. start in john and get his Holy spirit to come Bless your life, here is how to get it!

You maybe a henotheist, or yes, agnostic. If you son't believe in any particular religion, then you are agnostic.
