PRO's:
-Climate but it depends where you live, in Southern Ontario it gets hot and humid in the summer, spring and fall are usually nice. Winter can be cold at times but if you love outdoor winter activities, then it's not an issue. We don't get many tornadoes, very few hurricanes or earthquakes.
-Not many deadly creatures (in Ontario there is one poisonous snake but it's very rare)
-Great health care.
-Not much violence, no crazy gun laws (no right to arm bears).
-Mixed cultures.
-Cottage country, lots of lakes and natural areas
-Education standards are fairly high
-Cost of living is reasonable
-Free country, generally known as a peacekeeping country
-Foreign policies are not outrageous (not as greedy as other countries), so you can travel most of the free world with a Canadian flag on your backpack and be safe for the most part.
-One of the best countries to live in (usually ranked after Norway and Sweden but before the U.S.)

CON's:
-Weather could be nicer
-In Ontario, highways around Toronto are getting congested. Need better intercity transit like high speed rail introduced.
-Not doing enough to help the environment, but that can be changed
