science is the study of creation.

This would be a very short course because ther is no proof of "creation" And even if you assume creation ( by someone or something) happened , there is nothing to study because we are not able to "see" that far back in time ( before the universe we know was created ) .

Yes and no. The use of the word 'creation' has religious overtones and science is not in a position to prove one way or another that an intelligent external agency (God) is the cause of existence. He, if He exists (and I believe He does), is, by definition, transcendent and not subject to empirical measurement.

No - but it's a rather obvious way to lead into the suggestion that Creationism must, therefore, be a science.

Depends on how you define creation.

I personally believe in a creator God, but I do not take the story in Genesis literally. I firmly believe that the planet it 4.55 byo and in evolution. And I believe that God is the driving force behind it. He allowed us to develop the intelligence to figure it out, too.

I would be doing God a disservice if i did not use my intellect to its full capacity.

Science is much more reliable than an ancient book.

Nope. It's study of nature. Nature is natural... creation is supernatural.
