Wake up and smell the 21st century...the fundies don't have this country...they haven't had the USA in decades.

If they did, abortion would be illegal...so would being openly gay, living together, or having premarital sex (all were illegal in many places less than 50 years ago!). Kids would be saying prayers in school every day, all gambling would be restricted to Las Vegas/Atlantic City, and all the stores would be closed on Sunday. If you asked this question in the 1950s it might make some sense...but in the last 50+ years, the fundies have steadily lost control of this country.

Honey...if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Take back the USA from all the FUNDIES!.........You should thank God your still alive! He could have annihilated you and all other unbelievers if He willed to do so. But God is just, kind and merciful...... "Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure'" (Isaiah 46:9-10). This, then, should remove all doubt. God is supreme and nothing can prohibit Him from doing whatever He wants....It is you and most of the world who is spiritually blinded to the Truth of God. God has not called you to serve Him in this age. That is why your ignorance proceeds you.

It would be nice to educate them, but most are uneducable: it requires the ability to think, the education in how to do so, and the time and energy to actually do it. and few have all of this. Which gives us an unpleasant choice: we can vote Democrat to keep them out, but pay higher taxes, or Republican, to let them in, and hopefully keep the tax bill down. That is a Hobson's choice indeed.

What are you griping about? This is not a Christian nation anymore. The unbelievers seem to have a lot more rights than the Christians.

Tell them God wants Russia fixed and they all have to move there. nothing motivates a fundie like a good crusade.
don't worry about Russia, they have the climate needed to deal with invaders.

what the HELL are you referring to? Christians are not the ones on drugs, aborting babies, shooting down school kids, and kids on the streets, having sex on primetime tv, selling drugs to the kids, running prostitution rings, running around half damn naked and cursing up a storm

Lucile,
That is a great picture. I doubt that there are any true Fundamental Christians in the Congress. Where do you believe that they exist at? I would be glad to make suggestions but I do not know of any that you need to take this country away from.
PS... Have a great day Saturday.
Thanks,
Eds

Dang it-- I don't tell people to go to hell, but there is an old joke in which the punchline is telling a person complaining about Christians to go to hell, because there are no Christians there!

The most effective is to let them have their way. They would destroy themselves. Unfortunately, they would destroy everything else in the process.

The best way, with the best outcome, is a good and balanced education. Fundamentalism would probably fade away in a single generation if we put half of the time and effort into teaching science, literature, and the arts as what we put into high school sports.
