The people who bash any religion are merely ill-mannered dolts. Instead of bashing somebody else's religion they should be promoting their own religion.. but you see they can't, because they have never been happy with their own religion to start with and they haven't studied or read enough to have chosen a new religion that they could feel comfortable with. So instead of dicussing, they bash what they don't understand, hoping that nobody will notice that their knowledge is very limited, and rejoicing when they find somebody takes offense, because they only want to offend people and not get along, to begin with.

Absolutely, it's bigoted and trendy. The trend today is toward religions which require absolutely nothing in the way of moral standards, self-sacrificing devotion or rigorous thought.
On the other hand, if you have a revealed religion (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) as opposed to a deduced or invented one, you ultimately come to the conclusion that you have some corner on the truth. Your book, after all, is from God, not just from men. Christianity and Islam are very evangelistic about this, which ticks people off even when they try to be reasonable about it. And tho Judaism isn't evangelistic per se, if you think nobody's bashing the Jews, you haven't been watching the news for the past 4,000 years.
It is, I'm afraid, all too often nearly impossible to have intelligent debate about so emotional an issue. In the final analysis, it does not seem that everybody can be equally right and no one (atheists included) wants to give up the cherished beliefs upon which he / she has built an entire worldview and perception of self.

Many seem to relish bashing the Jewish people rather than the Jewish religion. The Jewish religion may not have as many missionaries trying to poke Judaism down other folk`s throat as do the Christians and Muslims. Just a thought with nothing to back it up. I am not a Jew nor a Muslim nor a Christian I`m just trying to get along.

I am probably going to get majorly flamed for this, but here's my opinion...
I have seen some really, really ignorant and asinine questions and answers posted by people in YA who identify themselves as Christians.
In my book, if you want to be respected and treated with respect, you must first present yourself as an intelligent, rational, and mature person.
If you join a public forum like YA and ask questions or give answers which waste readers' time and insult readers' intelligence, I feel that you deserve their scorn, even though it's rude to scorn others.
With Muslims, it's a different story. I have not seen very many unintelligent posts by Muslims, and I generally enjoy reading what they have to say. In their case, I think the bashing stems from backlash from 9/11. That's sad, because most Muslims don't deserve that kind of treatment. The radical fanatics are a small proportion of Islam's practitioners.

Find this question possibly to difficult to do it any Justice, but since, for whatever reason, it has sprung up before my eyes, I will try to answer it.
By saying I do not really know, but it is possible the above religions are found to be very challenging.
Though, what some Messianic Jews seem to forget (whom incidentally are fully Jewish) is that, apart from God blessing the Jewish nation and saying it will be a great nation, he also blessed the Arab nation, if I can put it that way, and said they will be a great nation; which of course we see they are. But I do fear for countries like Iraq and pray for them as a Christian should at this time.

I've never had a Jew try to convert me. Only Christians and Muslims try that. You don't see Pagans going door to door asking if people have heard of our Gods have you? We don't have TV networks with High Priest/ess' screaming that if you don't believe then you aren't moral... that you aren't worth anything... Send your money!!!
It's not bigotry when the people within certain religions have taken it upon themselves to tell everyone else how to live. It's merely fighting back... even if it is just with words.

It's an interesting perspective you have; you seem to be advocating for equal opportunity "bashing," so to speak.
Wouldn't it make more sense to condemn the bashing that does go on instead of taking issue with it only being "certain religions?"
And the world wonders why the fighting will never stop.

The ONLY thing I "hate" about Christianity and Islam is the need to make the world universal in their faith. And honestly it's the Christians telling me my gods are false, that I'm being deceived and I'm too stupid to know other wise and attempting to save my soul with their twisted logic.
Seriously, if they left me alone, I wouldn't even notice them. Notice the Jews leave us all the hel alone

Well Christianity & subsquentially Islam have been given the commission to preach and spread their beliefs to the world.
So usually they are at the forefront of evangelism (I'm not sure if the term can be used with Islamic preaching).
Judaism and other religions tend to keep to themselves and by doing so do not upset the ever darkening principalities of this world.

Christianity and Islam are the two largest religions in the world. All religion is nonsense. If we could get rid of Christianity and Islam we could just laugh the remaining religions off the face of the earth.
