I just went to a friend's party and ate well over 4000 calories. Should I not eat the next day? What should I DO?

Eat a normal amount the next day. If you feel that bad about it, walk a few miles or do some sort of exercise.

Over eating one day and then skipping the next will cause your metabolism to go bonkers and hold all the calories since it will think you are trying to starve it. The best way to lose weight is to eat but eat the right combination of foods per meal and eat 5 to 6 times a day. Splurging one day every so often won't matter as long as you go back to your original eating agenda the next day. Of course that agenda is only if you are eating properly and not starving your body of calories. When we eat less than what we need our body also thinks we are starving it so it will force calories into our fat cells to retain them. Find out what your prime weight should be for your height, gender and age and then eat accordingly and you will live longer and stay healthier, but don't be concerned about the calories you consumed the day before. If you think you need to do something about them, then exercise them off instead of omitting some. Walking is the best way to burn calories and maintain your figure. Good luck.

Just because you just ate over 4000 calories doesn't mean you shouldn't eat. If you choose not to eat your body will become weak. Drink lot's of water, eat protein, fruit, and healthier foods than you ate tonight.

No, you should eat a normal amount tomorrow. Eating a lot at once and then not eating changes your metabolism and will ultimately cause you to gain more weight than just making good choices on a daily basis.

Just resolve to start fresh tomorrow and make the best choices you can that day.

No, the last thing you want to do is not eat. Just chalk it up as a cheat day (if you are on a regular workout schedule). If you really feel guilty, do some aerobic activities on tomorrow. Eat light and don't over do it.

Everyone has days like that, it's okay. Just eat really healthy tomorrow and I'd do some cardio and exercises tomorrow too. But deffinitely eat the next day because if you don't, it will like shock your body and it won't do good.

you can burn it off easy, eat and eat more. start running, jogging, or some kind of cardio for 1 hr.

if you don't eat, and starve yourself, you can look deformed. if you do some kind of cardio for a long period of time, you can lose it faster because your body would be burning calories, and you can look good.

with cardio you can look good, without it, and using starvation as a mean to get you looking lean will have bad consequences.

good luck.

Of course you should eat. Eat things that are high in fiber. Drink lots of water.
