Since the WTS currently rejects most of the teachings of its founder, Charles Taze Russell (who was president of the organization from 1879-1916), and since they also reject "judge" Joseph Franklin Rutherford, who succeeded Russell as president from 1916-1942, how can you be sure that in 25 more years, the WTS won't reject the current president, Milton Henschel (1992-present), as they did Russell and Rutherford? What kind of confidence can you have in an organization that rejected its founder and first two presidents for the first 63 years of its existence - over 50% of the time they have existed?!

They shouldn't have confidence in their president. There religion is a cult! Pray God will open their eyes and set them free.

So people who read this may not be confused about the exaggerations and lies told by this JW apostate and others:

We do not reject these former presidents. Teachings become more clear as time goes on and we make the necessary adjustments.
I still read the works of Russell and Rutherford and both the people and the writings are still referenced in current publications.
If something we believe now is found to be in error in 25 years or so, we'll be humble enough to change.

Jehovah's people do not "reject most of the teachings of C.T. Russell and J.F. Rutherford". The majority of those teachings are still embraced, and both of them are mentioned in publications today in favorable light.

Where on earth did you get such an idea? Why do opposers have to create a misreprentation, and then bash their own misrepresentation all the while claiming it is something that we teach?

Because there is nothing to criticize, really, and so you must concoct a false storie and criticize it instead.

I would like to correct the first answer given to this question....

1) He did NOT answer the question directly.... he gave a "Hillary" answer.... just skirt it and keep truckin' along.

2) JW's are NOT the only ones who talk about God's coming Kingdom, but they ARE the only ones who talk about it from an unbiblical perspective....

Just thot you should know.

My guess is that you'll eventually get an answer that has to do with JWs being able to admit that they're not perfect, and that makes them better than "Christendom."
