First off, do you have an entertainment program already finalyzed, that you are ready to so the administrators of a retirement home to prove that you actually *are* an entertainer, even a volunteer one? You will need to have this first, as well as references confirming you are a person of good character and are reliable, before you are going to be allowed to audition to entertain in a nursing home. You need approaching retirement homes in a responsible, professional manner, just as you would if you were looking for paid work. A phone book for your area, as well as using online yellow pages, will help you to find retirement homes/nursing homes/assisted living centers in your area.

I don't live there, so no, I don't know of any retirement homes in Fife Washington. However, you can look in the yellow pages of your phone book under retirement communities or nursing homes for that information.

Check volunteermatch.com, they may have a voluteer base that can set you up with a non-profit or community organization that will meet your needs and by the way props to you for wanting to do that, I think many times our elderly are easily overlooked and they just like children are a precious and priceless treasure.

LOOK IN THE YELLOW PAGES of your home town. Then call them and tell them what you do (play piano, sing, dance) and they will hook you up with their activity coordinator to look into when and how you can entertain their patrons.

Good for you for wanting to do good things for folks!
