Although not out-right lies, I have often told half-truths in order to keep from hurting people.

Yeah I lie and call off sick when I am not really physically sick.
Edit but in tha matter of fair play I kill myself working and if I don't take time off I will be sick.
The funny thing is about 85% of the time people do not have to lie, because people really don't ask the right questions.

For example Lets say I call off sick.
The next day someone asks "How are you feeling today"
My simple answer is "fine". I know what they really want to know is what was wrong with me...but thats not what they asked.

The god of this wold is Satan the creator of lies! Before you scoff, how can there be dry without the knowledge of wet, or cold without the knowledge of hot, would not the same apply to good without the knowledge of evil?

If one believes in God, that would lead one to believe in the existence of Satan! Seeing that he is the creator of lies, I 'm sure he has inspired me to lie. Ever hear of the Devil made me do it, well couldn't that be the plain truth!

God cannot be tempted by evil nor can He ever tempt anyone.
Inspiration comes from God to do right. The devil however, lures people into sin; he suggests sin to people.
People seemingly smooth things over with lies but it's brief, all the while the damage is being done, unseen, while secretly their self respect dissipates and their relationships with others become more fake.
There's nothing authentic between people with lies.

A lie to a dying person is often an act of compassion. When you've had a few people in your family die, you know what I mean.

There are times when not telling a lie would be immoral. For example; if you were hiding (extremely well) Jews in your house during WWII, and the Gestapo came to your house looking for them It would be immoral to tell them that they were in your house.

All of my lies are inspired, but not by God, I just have an evil mind.

No, the few lies that I have told were out of concerns for self-preservation rather than divine inspiration.
