Did you ever think if all these people who are non-believers actually think instintively -"oops, maybe I am wrong" - that is why they are here under the religious section with their non-believing comments because they know deep inside the truth that God is real.

Sight is not the only sense people have. People cannot see air, but they can hear and feel it.

People can also directly experience emotions such as love.

Your god, however, doesn't appear to really be something that people can directly experience. A lot of Christians claim that they do have some sort of direct of experience, but most non-Christians obviously aren't terribly impressed by those claims. The non-Christians give such claims by Christians no credence for several good reasons.

One reason would be that many people who at one point have claimed that they were "experiencing" god later come to realize that they actually weren't experiencing god at all, they were just deluding themselves.

Another reason would be that people from other faiths make the same kind of claims. However, since Christianity claims that it is the only true religion, this would mean that the Christians cannot be right about the source of their "experiences". When two religions are mutually exclusive in terms of being true, then only one group should be able to have any real experiences of the divine. So, if both groups are having them, then the experiences cannot be divine in origin.

Yet another reason would be that many of the Christians that claim to have such experiences are just screwy nitwits that no one would believe about anything at all.

Basically, people have evidence that love and wind are real. There is no evidence that the christian god is real.

The same can't see forest from the trees.
They see that:
1) nothing comes out of nothing and everything comes out of something

2) sentience and consciousness exists

3) the unseen (thought) can create the seen (art, machines, etc.), but seen cannot create unseen.

They see these truths and dismiss them. I can understand why someone would say I don't know if God exists, but to say that He does not is laughable.

There's more physical evidence that He does, than there is that He does not.

We take pictures of the North Pole and find Santa doesn't exist. That's evidence of absence.

But there is no evidence of the absence of God. The evidence of the existence of God I listed above. But for many that's isn't enough. They seek only to believe in what the understand, what they can comprehend. Flat world thinking. Unfortunately the only proof that will satisify will be shown to late to be of any use.

I, for the record, say with absolute certainty, that He does.

Because people cannot connect those things with religion and God....
Some people refuse to feel God... and to believe in wind, we have to feel it right?
A lot of people think the same about God.

They can if they want to. Some people call "feeling" as higher sense than that material physical thing. And you and see as you feel I'm sure. Some people don't want to feel or see God and some people do. I think it is a personal choice. For me reality seems to have more meaning if I let myself "feel" see the higher more complicated as a fabrication of some Personality definitely Worthy in my mind of more than just normal consideration.

I think it's because we want it all to be true of what we believe, but we sit on the fence ready to lean to the side that may be true, and hoping we were right.

Because it takes more than 'faith' it takes, and this is the key, it takes 'commitment'. People I think have an easier time with the idea of 'faith' even though they use it as an excuse. Where the rubber meets the road is the life long commitment. One enters onto a whole new road.

We believe in other things we cannot see (pain, love,
wind, fear, air waves, electricity, sadness) so the only
thing keeping people from believing in God is "lack of
faith". Without faith it is impossible to please HIM. That
is a shame too as there is nothing more important than
to believe in God.

You cannot see the wind, but you can see it that it is blowing things around. You cannot see love but you can see the results of it.

You cannot see god....see what he has done...or hear what he has said.
