We....mankind were created Godlike from the beginning, welcome to walk with GOD. live long lives and produce many many offspring also to be with GOD we were able to share his awesome brilliance and good for we were full of GOD and his will, but like our children we separate our self from our family sometimes for a path of less resistance. Evil is the absents of GOD the more evil a person is relates to how far a person moves away from GOD. There are many different levels of evil on earth like steps walking away from heaven.
Evil is not an equal to GOD or (good) for it cannot hold you unless you allow it, for you only have to turn around those same steps lead back to GOD if you choose.

Hi Dark! What a great question! I think yes, God created evil. If you don't want to think he "created" it, he at least allows it, which would, in my opinion, be the same issue: evil exists. The Einstein analogy is more of a genetic issue, not a creation issue. If God created everything, including good, we would never know there is good unless we have the comparison of evil. I tend to get a bit philosophical, so I'll stop now :)

Evil as a few people have said is not a creation. It is the result of a wrong act from a free will. God created Adam and Eve, he ordered them NOT to eat of a particular fruit. It was their wrong action that produced the evil act of sin which came from a free will. True love can only be received if God's creations have this attribute.

God did not create evil, He discovered it in Lucifer. When Lucifer was created, he was just like any other angel -- perfect. But since he had the ability to choose (just like all humans and angels do), he chose to disobey God. He said that his government is better than God's, so God let him make his own government on Earth so he could show what he is capable of, and prove that his plan is truly better than God's plan. We can just look around us and see what the devil's government has brought us to. The devil is the creator of all evil, but God still has a way out.

No, us humans created evil. Adam and Eve ate the fruit for them to see evil and good. So then they saw how they were unclothed and impurity got into their once-pure eyes.
You see God knew this was going to happen and he put His Son, Jesus Christ (the Son of the Living God) to save our world from evil.
Well, now, we are forgiven by God if we commit evil and confess, which is daily. However, we must realize the evil we commit and try to better ourselves.
God will ultimately judge all people, since rebels will not be allowed in the new, perfect creation.

Evil is the pure manifestation of negative energy that humans created as an abstract concept to be a counterpart of good so if there were no humans there is no evil only natural order. Evil requires intelligence so therefore humans made evil.

This brings up the DEBATE.. is God really ALMIGHTY? maybe God himself has limited power. For example.. why did it take God 7 days and 7 nights to make earth? why not a fraction of a second?
God Created life, and evil was probably a side-effect. Just as in medicine is created for diseases, but medicines also have side-effects.

I think God created Satan to test our faith. He was given the power to tempt us, but he abused it and rebelled. He was expelled from Heaven and now tempts us on a far greater scale, fairly directly creating evil. BUT THIS IS ONLY MY THEORY. Don't quote me on it. It is not even fully completed. A lot of the idea comes from the book of Job, but these are all MY THOUGHTS ONLY. Those aren't angry caps, just attention-grabbers.
