I know someone will say something mean about this.2 years ago my weight was 125 and my height was 5'1 (normal weight) now i'm going through puberty and gained like almost 50 pounds and am only 5'4 and now i'm like really overweight.my doctor says i'm going to grow 3-4 more inches,and says wait a few years before going on a diet.is this normal? i hardly even changed my eating habits.any tips? please answer truthfully!

good point,i think it was because 2 years ago i dropped out of martial arts (they raised the price to like $150.00 a month) maybe i should start a new sport,or start working out at the gym again!

you didn't gain 50 lbs from puberty, you gained 50 lbs from eating too much of the wrong types of foods with an insufficient level of activity.

puberty or not the diet that you follow will ultimately determine the size and shape of your body

* do you think children in 3rd world countries gain 50 lbs in 2 years from "puberty" ?

Listen to the doctor, not strangers with an internet connection and too much free time.
