i kno what ur going thru! but, i dont eat that much...no offense. my friends and i stay on the phones and IM to try to make sure each of us arent eating candy lol.but, maybe u should tell ur nephew to take his candy. or u should lock it in a closet and let ur nephew keep the key around his neck. enless ur keeping the candy away from HIM. in htat case, u wouldnt need to worry, b/c he might not have any left. lol. i did that once! i HATE HALLOWEEN TOO!!!
its so tastfully E-V-I-L!!! its torchure. but u need to keep busy and stay out of the house. that helps. and no u cant take some with u! lol
its fine to eat candy, but limit urself to s few pieces. and slowly eliminate the amount. and keep ur mind off of candy and think about how u want to lose weight!!! u can always talk to me when u need will power!! we can get thru this togethr! lol. im serious tho. u can email me. just clik on the link on my profile. ♥

this is a proven fact, that has helped me.

let's say that everyday you pass a doughnut shop and get a doughnut. your glands automatically start salvating as soon as you get to the store, and of course you have a doughnut. if you can walk past the shop for 3 days (it'll be hard) and not get a doughnut, after the 3rd day, you will no longer crave it. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND.... you cannot go a different route to avoid it. you must follow the same scenerio, but resist. your body automatically responds to the stimuli. you have to "deprogram" yourself. so, just keep in mind that you if you can resist the tempatation 3 times you will overcome it.

have a rule that you can eat anything you want, but it has to be at the dining table and you can't listen to the tv or anything else. you must concentrate on eating. so, if you feel you must eat, go to the table and turn everything off and eat. that's the only place you should eat. anywhere else is just a trigger for you.

best wishes. i've done this and it really works.

Although I know very little about eating disorders, I would classify this as binging, in which case, I would advise you to look at the following websites:
http://www.peertrainer.com/LoungeCommunityThread.aspx?ForumID=1&ThreadID=31280
http://www.calorie-count.com/forums/post/32417.html
http://www.goaskalice.columbia.edu/2032.html
(I didn't read through these completely, so please don't be offended if a part of an article doesn't apply to you at all.)

You also might want to join an informal (or, if necessary, a formal) support group such as:
http://www.43things.com/things/view/80513

Also-Encourage your nephew to share the candy among his friends or just force him to throw any candy that isn't his ultimate FAVORITE in the garbage. How old is he? It might be the ideal time to talk to him about eating healthy. But don't tell him that you're concerned about yourself for the most part, since he can easily say "well just because you.....doesn't mean i have to" or w/e.

We're cheering for you!! You can do it!!!

Maybe have your nephew hide the candy so you don't know where it is. If you really like chocolate(like me) try these chocolatey snacks under 100 calories.

Top 10 Chocolate Treats (100 calories or less!)
1. 4 Hershey’s Kisses (100 calories)
2. 1 cup diet hot cocoa and 1 chocolate graham cracker (80 calories)
3. 1 JELL-O fat-free chocolate pudding snack (100 calories)
4. 1 Quaker Chocolate Crunch popcorn cake (60 calories)
5. 1 cup strawberries drizzled with1 Tbsp. fat-free hot fudge (100 calories)
6. 1/2 cup fat-free chocolate frozen yogurt (100 calories)
7. 20 chocolate-covered raisins (80 calories)
8. 1/2 cup General Mills Cocoa Puffs cereal (60 calories)
9. 2 Snackwell’s Devil’s Food Cookie Cakes (100 calories)
10. 2 bite-size York Peppermint Patties (100 calories)

Good Luck!

It doesn't seem like you want to stop eating candy because you are still eating them. If you know candy is bad for you and you are gaining weight from it, then why eat it? Even your nephew shouldn't eat it either. Do you like feeling fat? Do you like eating junk? Do you like feeling sluggish? Do you like having cavities? If your answer is NO to all of these, then do something about it.

It is all about 'Control'. If you can control yourself from these terrible 'critters' that destroy your body, then this is a start to overcome your desires. No more candy, no more fat, no more cavities, no more sluggishness. If you can stop eating these candies, then you probably can stop eating junk foods too! If you want to live longer, then eat healthy. Stop eating processed foods, refined sugars, sodas, chips, fast foods. All of these are not healthy for you. Okay, I could go on and on with eating healthy, but you will have to decide. Hope this helps you.

Ow.. i love chocolate too. it's yummy.
but don't eat to much..
i guess there's no one can make you stop to it, only you can stop it. just try this: i call it reduce.
i mean like this,
if today you eat 40 mini sized chocolate candies, so tomorrow you must reduce being 30.... and so go on..
20..
10...
until 0.
i know its very hard to control it, just BELIEVE that YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!
only yourself can help you. Okay.
Wish all the best for you.
good luck!

Ask your brother or sister to put it in their room and have Jimmy ask for a piece when he wants it. Remember how good you felt when you started seeing the pounds come off and know that the next piece isn't going to taste any better than the last piece of candy.

Pretend that with each pieve of candy you eat,
you gain a pound. So say you have 5 reeses pieces
peanut butter cups in front of you.... do you really
wanto gain a random 5 lbs?

haha, just an idea.

Read about the physical effects processed sugar has on your body.

If that isn't scary enough, read about the allowable ratio of bug parts in chocolate.

I guarantee, you'll not look at chocolate the same way for a long time!
