just without all the nutrients?

like if i ate ice-cream.. just say that was like 100 calories.. but the next day i ate 100 calories worth of fruit.. would i gain more weight if i ate the ice-cream or it would be the same as the next day because its the same amount of calories?

Calories are the same BUT Ice cream has WAY more fat, Because of all the Sugar and all that bad stuff they put into it, But when it comes to fruit, You won't gain even Nearly as much possibly nothing at all compared to ice cream, Because Fruit is all natural, And ice cream is FAKE Fake Fake Fake, Fruit is the way to go.

not even close. ice cream is empty calories besides the very little amount of nutrients provided by the dairy. fruit provides not only energy but anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals. then you have to take into account the response from the endocrine system after feeding which is always positive with all natural foods and usually negative with man made foods.

the source of your calories is more important than the calories themselves.

The number of calories being the same doesn't make them equal. Ice cream contains loads of fat, the stuff that takes forever to digest.

You'd definitely gain more weight by eating ice cream.
