Microsoft word 2000 questions?

I am having trouble getting custom envelopes and labels to come out properly spaced and located. I have put in all the correct measurements. What do I need to do to rectify this?

Would you care to add what is wrong.
Like scrunched together or spread out, not aligned, ok but not where you expected.
Like what choice you used for printing - Tools / Envelopes or some other path
What brand of printer? What size of custom envelope? Larger or smaller than average or just odd sized? Did you push the feed buttion to be sure the envelope was in position and not slipping on feed?
