You might also contact National organizations that have chapters in the state, try Americorps and the Salvation Army. Goodwill Industries would be a good resource as well.

Any parole officer that is worth her or his salt should have a list of halfway houses and job programs to help felons. Contact some of the prisons and corrections departments in your area and ask to speak with one. Good luck to you.
