I have a track meet tomorrow. What should I eat for energy. Like or pasta or something?

Yes definitely load up on carbs the night before. Thats what our school's football team does before big games. Spaghetti, Lasagna, Manicottis, all are good choices, just don't do pizza. Carbs give you energy that you store and use later.
Good Luck!

Eat a meal that concentrates on carbs intake about 2-3 hrs before the track meet so that way while you are running you won't feel full, but also the food will have started to be digested and ready to burn for fuel. Also remember to drink water before, during, and after the meet to stay hydrated.

Always eat a carb and a meat together. The carb will give you the instant boost of energy and the protein will make sure you dont drop when it wears off.

pasta is garbage food for a competitive athlete. you want to ingest foods like whole oats, lentils, beans, barley, whole grain rices, etc. high fiber carbs that are all natural. these provide the greatest amount of energy and nutrients with not many calories. something like chili made with lean beef or ground turkey would be perfect for lunch.

no need to carb load unless you are an endurance athlete.
