I have ,actually, very good oral health, but I still have a bad problem with my breath.
I'm so embarrassed to talk to anyone because i'm so scared they'll be offended.
Even my boyfriend's admitted to it.

i had braces for almost 4-5 years, so i'm not sure if that affects anything...
but anyway

i've tried gums, different mouthwashes, flossing, tounge scraping...i brush like...all the time I try not to eat bad foods, i've never had a cavity or anything

is there anything i can do to get rid of this?
i don't want to mask it 24/7, frankly i'm tired of that??
thanks for any help

Do you smoke? If you do, the smell is probably coming dead rotting flesh from your lungs as you exhale. If you don't smoke maybe you could cancel it out by drinking a little vinegar. I work with someone that's from Conga, Africa and his breath always smells like he eats butt biscuits. I just assumed that he still eats bugs or something. The box of Altoids that I gave him really helped though. Good luck with finding a solution.

Some times you could have a medical problem. You could an esophagus problem allowing gasses to escape into your mouth . Your doing all the right things and you may want to see a dentist or your GP to check for something else. I know the problem you have is terribly difficult , your afraid to talk because you don't know what will happen. The last medical reports I've seen point to a medical problem. i hope you get help with this, I know it's very hard on you. A doctor should be next.

Try going to http://www.therabreath.com, that stuff works really well! It's completely different from the usual mints, etc. It kills specific types of bacteria, and doesn't just cover up smells. Their website also has a lot of useful information, and explains why this product (with stabilised chlorine dioxide as its active ingredient) reacts specifically with the mouth bacteria that produce bad-smelling chemicals. You can usually buy Therabreath mouthwash and other products from any chain pharmacy. I liked their Activ K-12 alot, but you can only get that from the website.

Also... bad breath can come from way at the back of your throat and tonsils, but NOT your stomach... If you've ever thrown up, you'll know that your stomach contents don't smell a THING like bad breath.

Sounds like you are in good health and have good hygiene.

It may be your tongue!Try a tongue scraper. I kid you not. They sell them at almost every store now. Most of the stinky bacteria collects on your tongue. trying to brush it off doesn't really help.

I could not imagine going a day with out mine. My breath would be horrible! You'll be surprised, I guarantee it. Here is a link for the brand I use. I find it the best for our family. We also brush with baking soda as it absorbs odor. But the tongue scraper does a fine job in itself. If this doesn't fix the problem right away, time to call your D.D.S. He can find the source whether it be sinus trouble to gum disease.
Good Luck.

HEY! I'VE TOTALLY GOT AN ANSWER TO THIS!!!

:D

Okay, in the back of your throat... near/in your tonsouls--there is this area where dead skin can gather, and it smells horrible, if you open up your mouth and look in a mirror and flex the back of your mouth, you may see them. Just... use an ear cleaner to take em out, or anything long enough really, you may gag but once they're gone, until they're back, you should be fine! after your done, gargle with mouthwash or something, be careful
HEE im happy.

Sorry to hear of your problem. What medications are you taking? That has alot to do with your breath. Also, you may have stomach problems. Brush your tongue with baking soda, I suspect a tooth gone bad. Please ask your pharmacy about a nettie pot. Use ONLY sea salt and warm water. Flush flush! This is an awsome way to clear out stinky stuff..Please try the nettie pot.

Chronic bad breath is usually the reflection of an unhealthy diet. Try eating more vegetables, drink plenty of water, and cut back on dairy products. A significant difference should be noticed within a couple weeks.

Talk to your doctor, or just check your braces incase there is something stuck in there! && get a dentist check up they'll tell you all the problems you have(i went to get a check up 2 months ago and the dentist found a tumor which i NEEVERR knew about!! they also found 9 unseen cavaties!!!!)
so just go && check it out medically it'll be easier!

Bad breath comes from the stomach. Avoid constipation, go to the toilet everyday regularly. Eat plenty of veg and fruits and lots of water. Brush your teeth morning and nite everyday. Keep a clean tongue.

This sounds like a stomach type problem. It could be due to acid reflux. Talk to your doctor. That can cause really bad breath.
