i am 13 years old, 5' 4" and 94 lbs, with a body fat percentage of 10.4. the thing is, we tested it in PE at school, and the first i got was 9.9, and i knew that couldn't be possible; even my teacher doubted me. i a pretty lean and have decent amount of muscle for a girl my age, and i have dense bones. i don't really do sports, but i do rollerblade a lot.

i tested over and over again, but i kept getting around 10 and 11 %. is this possible? i don't really think that it's possible for me, since i'm not that into working out, just rollerblading a ton.

please no, "you're just showing off to the internet" crap. i am honestly doubtful

Have your body fat tested by a doctor. The percentage they got may not be accurate, especially if they used biolectrical impedance or the person testing your body fat wasn't very experienced with the callipers.

Also have you started your periods, because such a low body fat percentage could affect this. Definitely speak to your doctor about this and in the meantime, try not to worry.

sweetie for 5'4" and 94!! pounds you are underweight to me. You are still lean because women should have around 20% or so. You probably have not hit puberty yet but no worries!!

You either have a fast metabolism or will blossom soon! Either way you are gorgeous and remember we are all jealous ;P

I think it's possible considering how slim you are. I'm 13, 5'8", around 130 pounds, and my body fat is about 18%. So comparing you to me, that sounds pretty plausible.

yes, at your age your body fat can be low. remeber that posted numbers are statistical averages of large populations tested across many racial, ethnic, and health lines. they vary greatly on an individual basis. if you want to know if your healthy, figure out how often you excersize, and if you eat a healthy diet. if you excersize (doesnt mean hitting the gym, rollarblading, walking, chasing your friends with squirtguns all count if done fairly often) and eat right, then you just have a low body fat content and you shouldnt worry about it. keep eating right. if you wish you may supplement with over the counter fish fat oils, commonly found at grocery store health sections. it wont make you fat, just has healthy fat oils in it.

the odds of you having close to 10% body fat at 13 years old are slim to none. body fat analyzers sold to consumers that use bioelectrical impedance are highly inaccurate.

natural female bodybuilders and fitness competitors compete at around 10% body fat

I think that sounds right. You are only 94 pounds and at 5'4", your really not super short. I'm 5'6", 31, 135 lbs, and more like 23%. I was watching the dallas cowboy cheerleaders, they are super skinny, and I think on average are about 12%.

you are a bit slim for your age. but that percentage is still crazy. my younger cousin is 9 and weighs 115lb. he is no where as healhy as you. 44% of his body is fat! my point is that eat more and go ton the gym one a week.

Yeah, that sounds about right! I'm 5'7, 209lbs (I know I'm a porker), and my body fat percentage is 30%. So 10%-11% sounds about right for someone a lot younger and smaller! Plus, you're growing and developing! Don't worry!

i have no idea, cause i didn't read your whole thing, but i guess your just a fat-***. eat less! jk, but if you like that, you really need to eat a little, cause guys don't like total fat chicks, and breakables (girls that are super skinny) cause its just kinda gross. just go eat some ice cream, but don't get to big.
