As far as I'm concerned, evolution IS a form of religious belief.

But I don't care whether others believe it's "religion," or not.

Because, really, if what I believe isn't considered "religion," maybe I just won't have a religion.

I just believe it--whether or not it "counts" doesn't mean anything.

That's like saying, "If I drink antifreeze, is it considered a drink??" Because in that case, you're drinking it; therefore it's a drink. But people will say that because it wasn't meant as a drink, it doesn't count. People will get so caught up in deciding whether it's a drink, or not, that they forget that they're gonna be dead, either way, which, in my opinion, is kind of the important part.

I believe in science.

I don't care whether it counts as religion, because as long as no one says I can't believe it, I'm good.

Sadly, oh so sadly, there are Fundamental Atheist types. They get a little starry eyed in the use of science as a replacement religion.
I know you're not one of 'em.

It is an ideology, like Buddhism.

Religion without the god but still belief based.
