I can tell you, as a mental health professional with 20+ years experience, now retired, that your dream means only one thing: that you can dream. Please hear me, since you're the first person asking such a question that I have taken the time to answer so clinically, and so straightforward. Our minds can dream. That's a matter of statistical and experiential fact. It happens in a deep level of sleep known as "Rapid Eye Movement" (REM) sleep. What you dream, however real, or however related to your current or past situation in life, only means one thing: that you can dream, and therefore sleep well. "Interpretation" of said dream(s) is/are a sad joke. It means only what you play like it means, or what you pay some joker to "tell you" what it means. My recommendation to all "dreamers", of which there are plenty: Enjoy the dream, just like you do a movie or book. You like mysteries, enjoy your mysterious dream without trying to make something out of it. You may enjoy scarey movies or books, so, if you have a "scarey" or "terrifying" dream, enjoy it too. Be glad that you can have such wonderful experiences in life, FREE (try getting THAT at a movie theater!!). If you want to "interpret" your dream, like playing with a Ouija board, well, okay. Just realize you're playing, and don't get your life all twisted about because of it. God Bless you, and sweet dreams (or sexy ones if you prefer).

it is your brain trying to wake you up. If your brain decides for whatever reason that you must be awakened, it will perform various wake-up fuctions until you do. This can be in the form of someone in your dream who is calling to you, a telephone ringing, a knock on the door, or falling down. All these conditions are designed to get you to awaken.

Not too sure J. Do you know what it means when you don't remember the phone ringing or holding a complete conversation with the one who called?

well dreams sometimes tend to do that, i dont know much about this, but ur state of mind or ur brain patterns must have been different at the point so that u thought u heard a phone. but if there is no evidence then it must have not actually happened and that was ur dream.

Hmm... Pretty deep dream! Deep dreams blend too well with reality.
