IM IN HIGH SCHOLL AND I AM A FRESHMEN IM IN ROTC AND FOR MY CARRER I WANT TO BECOME A MARINE CORPS OFFICER I WANTED TO KNOW WERE ARE THE SCHOOLS FOR THAT AT? I ONLY KNOW ONE AND ITS UNIVERSITY MARYLAND BUT SAY IF YOU HAVE A DISABELITIE AT THAT YOU DEAF IN ONE EAR CAN YOU STILL JOIN THE SERVICE?

all caps is considered shouting. you must be deaf. the degree of deafness can be a disqualifying factor. Total deafness is definitely a PDQ.

you are NOT in ROTC you are in JROTC. HUGE difference.

Any college with a NROTC unit is doable, you just have to apply for and be accepted for Marine Option.

Most likely it is disqualifying, the military is no longer "well if you have two legs and can shoot, you're good to go". Far from it actually - I was almost deemed ineligible because the 5 stitches I received on my chin when I was 6 were "not quite done perfectly"!

Oh any the person above me is right, lose the caps lock. Even Marines (or wanna-be later in life Marines) have to control their intensity… sometimes.
