chicken soup, vitamin-c, multi-vitamins which should be taken on a daily basis anyways for better health, Airborne tablets dissolved in water and plenty of rest. It can't be rushed. It has to run it's course. There is a new medicine called Zicam that is like a Q-tip that you put up into your nose that I saw advertised on TV. Can't say if it works. Don't know anyone who used it. Drink lots of fluids too. Hot tea with lemon & honey is nice.

Take time to relax. Hurrying places and having a lot of things scheduled just causes stress so don't have such a busy schedule (if you don't then never mind.). Also you should drink lots of fluids but try to avoid alcohol, coffee, and caffeinated drinks. Also gargling some warm salt water can temporarily relieve a sore throat. And of course hot chicken soup to eat helps. Last, you might also want to consider getting a humidifier because most cold viruses start in dry conditions.

Zinc losenges or nose swabs several times a day; vitamin C with echninacea twice daily.

You should definitely take a lot of time relaxing and sleeping. You bodies immune system is a powerful defense and should you refrain from strenuous activity and relax, your body will work it out. If it persists you should look into seeing a doctor. Give it at least 3 days

Sweating it out. The germs and the virus will be killed by the extreme heat. I usually would get in the shower and have a hot one that way I sweat it all out.
