New York City is truly a wonderful city due to its universal diversity. Another factor that makes NYC so attractive is that it is extremely liberal and open-minded towards are social norms. Finally, as the young man stated in above me, there always something to do

Pros--the city is still lively even in the middle of the night; great museums/parks/entertainment; incredible energy; many important companies have their headquarters there; how all the areas are SO different (upper east side vs. chinatown vs. soho)...the number of opportunities...
Cons--kind of dirty; noisy; no open spaces

pros exciting lots to see do many cultures many job opportunities most things ( stores restraunts ) within walking distance
cons crime ( though better then many other big cities ) cost
crowding pollution traffic

It's hectic, expensive, people are nasty , it's aggravating, noisy, dirty, too hot or too cold, and really the only place worth living.
