Especially here in R&S. All these religious people, being so dull and boring, and never recognizing witty and sarcastic questions. Plus there seems to be many more atheist comics out there, such as Bill Maher, Kathy Griffin, and David Cross.

I often thought that was generally the case, but KLK just made espresso shoot out of my nose with this priceless gem-
"Christians dont ask stupid questions about atheists."

Some Christians actually DO have a good sense of humor -- even about Christianity. But most don't. The very reason so many people buy into the Illusion on a Stick is because This Good Life doesn't really appeal to them. They'd rather ignore it. They prefer to pretend that their discontent and misery in this world will be redressed after they're dead. They also seem to enjoy fantasizing that the people who ARE relatively happy in this world (like all of us laughing Atheists) will be punished for being happy. Perhaps that makes it easier to bear.

What Atheists find as dull and boring in Christians is their beliefs. Christians are here to interact with each other and share their thoughts on bible topics. If we want to be humorous we go to another section of Yahoo.

first off, i know many Christians with a great sense of humor. Another thing, many of the atheists ridicule Christians. Believe it or not, you can have a ton of fun without making everything dirty and making fun of everyones personal belifs. That may be the only reason you find them funny is because they make fun. They are PERSONAL belifs, no one said you Had to believe them.

Actually, did you know people like Red Skelton, Richard Pryor, Carol Burnette, and other fine comedians suffered childhood abuse? As far as Christians, it depends on the group they belong to because as with any group a "group think" prevails. Have you noticed some atheistic attacks on Christians just for their beliefs? Really gory, sock it to you blood suck'n awful, smack your silly. Oh, sorry my sarcasm needs work.

No, no no... Sure, there are plenty of good atheist comics, but if you want to make a generalization about religion and humor, who's produced more comedians than the Jewish Faith? Really.

Peace to you.

Maybe because your soul is at stake, we only joke with each other at the Wednesday night services while discussing our eventually take over of the US. No, really you should walk in on one of the services sometime.
PS Bill Maher is a leftist hack and he isn't really funny, I have never heard of the other 2,sorry.

More and more so callled comedians seem to think that being rude and obnoxious and profane is funny. It is not. You might want to rethink how witty and sarcastic you would think the question is if it were targeted at you instead of Christians.

I'm an atheist but I think you're being unfair. Having a sense of humour does not depend on one's belief system.

Plenty of Christians have a SOH and plenty of atheists don't. And vice versa.

being rude, crude, vulgar, and obscene is not considered humorous...

Bill Maher, Kathy Griffin, David Cross are not funny....crass, loud, tasteless, rude...much like joan rivers...all mouth and no brains...
