a bit, but not much. I made an effort to learn about it after though, mainly because I did not believe what I was being told by my government and the media in my country. Im now studying in the Middle East and getting first hand experience.

No! The only way i came to discover Islam was by all the bad things being said about it on the media which at the time i thought was true. Because of all the hate i decided to look into Islam and find out if muslims were really these bad people that they were made out to look like.

Turns out Islam is the religion of peace and its nothing like what the media portrays it to be. I started to get really interested in the religion and many months later i am thinking of converting!

Never believe the media!!

Yes, I did. From the time of the US Marine Hostages taken when our embassy was overrun in Iran back in 1979, I believe it was 1979. Then there was Locherbie and of course the USS Cole and the Somalia incident.....

Yes I did. I have long been interested in learning the teachings of other faiths so that I can learn to determine and strengthen what I believe.

yes, I did. I grew up in a large city and many of my classmates were muslim. In fact, two of the girls in my grade were Palestinian Muslims. I asked them how they were being treated post 9-11. It wasn't nice. It's a shame, because I saw Muslim people all the time and it never bothered me-it's a different way of life, nothing more, its own religion. I lived in a city with a high muslim concentration and nothing ever got blown up, so...
