there is no scientific data anywhere that supports statements that resistance training stunts the growth of the human skeletal system. this stems from an old wives tale because people looked at bodybuilders where many are shorter than average and "assumed" that their lack of height was from weight training. when in reality the majority of bodybuilders are shorter than average because it's much easier filling out a 5'5 frame than a 6'2 frame.

No it will not stunt your growth, as long as you are doing your workouts properly you will not stunt your growth. Also, if your ever doing squats make sure you do them in perfect for or else if you don't you will mess up your spine and your growth may stunt leaving you with back problems.

How many personal trainers have you seen that are over 6' tall?
But, competitive football players start lifting during adolesence and they end up being tall AND big.
Just don't become a personal trainer or a PE coach and you should grow up nicely.

not unless you are using HGH (human growth hormone) or steroids, otherwise it is a great way to stay healthy and in shape.
