A girl once told me that i was really sexy and through that my looks intimadated girls. through that intimadaition is the reason I am single. Is there a chance that this is actually true.

It's possible! Maybe all girls just think they aren't good enough for you. What you should do then is be the one to approach the girls if they are "intimidated" by you. If they think that you like them then they will probably not feel intimidated!

A slight chance and they also might think you are Gay if you are really good looking. Personally looks are not intimidating to me, I enjoy looking at a beautiful human being, man or women, but I am never intimidated by either. Perhaps that is the wrong word to use for your looks, maybe you just look like someone who is not approachable.
