According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, “if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” There are two Greek words which are translated new in the Bible. The first, neos, refers to something that has just been made, but there are already many others in existence just like it. The word translated new in this verse is the word kainos, which means something just made which is unlike anything else in existence. In Christ, we are made an entirely new creation, just as God created the heavens and the earth originally – He made them out of nothing, and so He does to us. He does not merely clean up our old selves; He makes an entirely new self and this new self is actually part of Christ Himself. When we are in Christ, we are “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:14). God Himself, in the person of His Holy Spirit, takes up residence in our hearts. We are in Christ and He is in us.

That brother Don, is one of the ways to KNOW if you have been TRULY "born of the Spirit", made into the "New Creation, in Christ!" Strange when it happens, but TRUE!
MANY ppl out here in this world PROFESS to be Christians, but it is in the "CHANGE" that TRUTH is found!
In some that have accepted the Truth of God, this change is drastic & can be immediately seen! In others..the change may be a little more gradual. (Much like the healings of Jesus Christ, Himself...He did not heal all the ppl the same way, even though the illness may have been the same (i.e. blindness for example) each was individual & unique, just as we all are!)
But there IS a change! IF you have not experienced that "change" for youself, then I would say you need to examine your heart!
Those that have become the "New Creation" ...LOVE one another, LOVE the Word of God (and love reading from it daily) and they feel a great sense of compassion for ALL God's Creation, as so MANY are truly lost!
Being "Born again" is the most awesome thing that can happen in a person's life!
Praise God, for Jesus Christ whose sacrifice made it POSSIBLE!

God loves everyone and forgives sins. God does not hate gay people; however, God is against homosexuality. He hates the sin but loves the sinner. We are made in his image, and He has a love for us that goes beyond what our finite minds can comprehend. Now, if you believe that homosexuality isn't wrong then that is another issue. God created Adam and Eve as an example of how man and woman should come together and procreate. When one's heart is turned away from what God has declared as sin in the Bible, whether it is homosexuality, drugs, adultery, stealing etc, then that is where the main problem comes in at. Each person must examine themselves and see if they are walking in the light that God has shown us. If we decide to disobey, then we will eventually become set in our ways, and we will not be able to change even if we wanted.

It is because the Holy Spirit gives him/her a new nature that is attracted towards doing what is right. However, if we do not feed this new nature with the word of God then it gradually becomes weak thus strengthening the old carnal nature.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (King James Version)
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
God bless

When someone accepts Christ and is Born Again, the Bible tells us that the person becomes new. We are to put aside the things of this world and focus on the Lord and to live like he would want us to live. That means to forgive our enemies. If we forgive our enemies, then we are unable to hate them. But, alas, we are only human and "All fall short of the glory of God" and that's why Christ died for us--so that our sins can be forgiven. He can't forgive us our sins unless we accept Him as Lord and Savior, the Son of God. Christ said that if we don't acknowledge Him in this world, He will not know us in the next.

When true salvation and forgiveness is achieved God changes your human nature to create a new being.
One of the ways He does this is to automatically heal you of such afflictions and releases you from the demon spell that caused all the hate to start with.
I say automatically because by His stripes we are healed. It is already done you just have to accept it.
This new being is in a dangerous position as Satan will surely try to stop this. Much dedication is needed, and prayer for faith.
Lord I believe, help me in my unbelief?

I don't think it always works that way....not instantly...it is a process of growth for some...I have seen people on drugs, never touch them again,,,,family's reunite...alcoholics totally turn their lives around..I quit smoking the day after I was saved and never picked up another one.
For some, it is an instant change,,,for others it is a growth process...but they learn as I did, that forgiveness is necessary,,, so you can grow,,,and you really do learn to love those who hurt you and pray for them.

Because when one is truly born again, they lose their fallen sin nature and take on the nature , and MIND of Christ, with His very excellent character, and ability to love unconditionally. God wants us to be like Jesus, in fact He commands it, it is required. Those born of God cannot deliberately sin. 1 John 3:9. becuse we have the mind of Christ and sin will be as vile to us as it is to God.
God doesnt want us pathetic whinney little Christians, saying oh we cant sin, and count on grace. GOd forbid. Grace is for past sins and things we dont know are sins now, and God will reveal all of that to us once we are fully His. Jesus was perfect because He perfectly obeyed the Father and that is our High calling too. To live the truth and speak the truth, boldly, without fear or compromise. Just as Jesus did.
Done in love, but boldness, and leave the HOly Spirit to convict. God says we will know who is His by their fruits, ACTIONS, and its true. Works dont save us, but faith without works is dead, and counts as nothing. When you are like Jesus, you will want to do the things HE did and count it all as JOY.
IF you clam to be GOds and havent alllowed God to chagne your heart, then you are not born again and you will not be saved. GOd says t be fully His or not His at all.
What blasphemy to see all the ways we can sin and allow grace to cover it. GOd wants everything brought up to the front of our minds and hearts, so that He can show us what we need to change, and receive power fro the HOly Spirit on how to do just that. Grace isnt to cover, its to empower, so is knowledge of God. WE are a new creation, and when we are truly Gods, we will change and be more like Jesus every day.
Great question again. God bless you.

They are a new creature in Christ and old things have passed away. But this is done in time, and is not automatic to turn from hate to love and be able to forgive.
If you are obedient to the Spirit these things will come to pass and be a part of your spirit.

anyone anywhere. most lash out in pain. very few people
i ever met were just plain evil. most have been abused
just once too often.
