After school, I was walking home with my friends and these guys were standing by the school and kept looking at me and smiling as I walked by, I could here them saying "damn" then as I got further they hollered something at me , I don't know what.

Were they checkin me out? what do you think? I don't wanna be wrong..

If you think they were, should I tell them off the next time they try that, or let it go...?

yeah they were definetely checking u out. dont flip out on them because that could be a bad idea, but just shoot them the finger and give them a dirty look to put them in their place.

Since you mentioned you are in school - I am assuming you are around age 15 years old [??]. If you are a teenager, then school aged boys in this same age group are very immature. Since teen boys are unable to approach a girl, because they are too shy or afraid of rejection... they instead do and act the way you described: they "hoot and holler" to get girls attention. So, yes, I would say they were "checking you out."

Boys this age [between 12 - 17 and sometimes even boys in their 20's] will act this way for many different reasons:
- immaturity
- lack of self-confidence
- peer pressure from their friends
- fear of rejection
- shyness
- etc...

Let it slide... and try to IGNORE it as best as you can. If you say something back to them, they will probably only act worse.
: ) Good luck...
and remember: boys mature much SLOWER than girls do, so give them time to catch up w. you. : )
: )

Help, indeed! You're young, aren't you? Nice boys don't holler. Nice boys have the spine to approach you. It doesn't matter what the hell these boys were up to. What does matter is that you kept on walking. Sure, it's flattering to be checked out, which is what they probably were doing, but it's even better to be liked for more than what people see. Isn't there more to you than what you look like?

YO THAT'S MAD SCARY. Beware. They can be dangerous. They think you mad hot, quite obvious. You should always go out with a couple of friends (more than two) after this event. Don't tell them off, just gona make them more excited. If it gets worst, you should tell someone in higher authority (parents or guidance counselor).

Let it go, and move on. Saying something might just encourage them. Used to happen to me a lot. I didn't have to do anything - just got older. Now that I am over 50, they look right through me. Yep. Just give it time.

how old are you???? if your still young enough to be asking stupid questions like this, then you better have other things to think about than what a guy thinks. most likely they think with the wrong head! think about your self and respect yourself!

not only that, once you talk to them even to say to back off , they'll take things the wrong way, thinking your playing hard to get. like I said they think with a smaller head with no brain.

Oh, they were checking you out. Let me ask you this. Were you offended by it or did it make you feel good about it?If you were offended by it, then ask them nicely not to do that anymore. If you like the fact that they were checking you out, then strike up conversation with them. I know how feel. Been there.

Well, (assuming you actually ARE a guy. no offense meant whatsoever) if I were you, I wouldn't even worry about it. However, if they DO try something, go and tell an adult.

If they just stand there and keep looking at you, ignore them.
