Everyone is entitled to one free credit report annually from each of the credit bureaus. AnnualCreditReport.com is the only service authorized by Equifax, Experian and TransUnion for this purpose. You still have to register, but you are not charged for the free reports. The only charge incurred would be for the FICO scores on each bureau.

Only place to get your free credit reports online from all three credit bureaus is AnnualCreditReport.com. This is the site set up to process your free annual reports. Credit scores are not free. If you want, you can purchase them for under $10 each.

FreeCreditReport.com requires you to sign up for their monitoring services, which are definitely not free.

I agree - there is a free annual credit report. I'd either type those words into the search engine or wikipedia. You should be able to come up with what you're looking for. :D
