What is your religious background? I mean, did you grow up Christian? Are you the same denomination? Were you raised to believe in the rapture? If not, how did you come upon this belief? Did you believe it right away or over time?

What about us who don't (as I don't either)? I am just curious at the moment about those that do, thanks.

I become what I am after I studied Islam.
Please, don't hate me. I learned it is not for me. and now I am what I am.
I believe in Allah, but don't believe Allah / God would give an important job such as preaching religion to a person like Muhammad. He was not perfect, and he had his faults just like all of us. I don't want to say what they are. No one is perfect, and it is none of my business. Muslims seems more and more to placed him above all. Sorry, can't do. May God / Allah forgive his sins and have mercy on him. May he rest in peace. He does sometimes come to mind when I pray, and do pray for him that God will forgive his sins just as I do for anyone else.
I chose to believe in a person who asked for love and peace. That is Jesus Christ. Muhammad did teach peace, but it was not without some stipulation. It is kind of be peaceful, but in case so and so, and can fight for Allah. Mixed messages.
God Bless
Edit:
I just want to let you know that I believe you can believe as you wish. That is all.
Peace to you and yours.
Edit:
Thank you all who voted for me. up or down.
FEZ™ ~I luv Sujood! ~ , are you going to hold that against me! It seems the more thumbs up I get, the more I get misjudged.
Thank you for your time.

I was not raised in the church and did not grow up a Christian. I was nineteen when I accepted Christ. I started reading as much of the Bible as I could. When I was twenty, I had to read it again for a Bible class and I read Revelation for the first time. I was very interested and wanted to know more about the meaning of Revelation. I did not disbelieve it first, I just didn't understand it. When you read with an understanding of Old Testament prophecy and you take it at its word unless it is obviously symbolic then you begin to understand and see the whole picture. This is not something I was taught, it is something I have read about and studied on my own time.

I was brought up Catholic, but left when I was young. I got involved with a group called The Way. While staying with someone near their HQ, I saw a book in his library called Are the Dead Alive Now that covered scriptures dealing with, among other things, the rapture/gathering together.
I was fascinated. One of the things I always wondered about was how everything was going to turn out in the end. I read the book cover to cover twice in one sitting before I put it down.
I've been believing it ever since.

I was raised in an non-denominational church known as the Berean church. We were raised to believe in the rapture as is mentioned in the book of Revelations. The Sunday School teachers began to teach us the book of revelations at the age of 12 or about the seventh grade, it is also known as the age of confirmation. I did believe it right away because I was taught to believe that theWord of God is the Truth.

I was raised in a christian family. But i never really cared for any of the stuff. I had my own thing and did my own thing. I didnt care bout anything. Until i went to this youth service, I came to god. I understood everything, and i accepted him as my lord and savior. I thank god for waiting on me and giving me a second chance. I love jesus and i do everything i can to live for him only. As for your question. I had doubts bout the rapture since the word rapture is not stated in the bible. In the bible it says we will be caught up in the air with Christ before the tribulation. It is in the bible. Jesus said, blessed are t hose who have not seen and yet believe. And in revelation it says. behold i am coming soon and my reward is with me. ...

hi my pal I agree that we would desire to consistently no longer set dates for the Rapture. I agree that God the daddy is familiar with and not the Son. it is real that we don't be attentive to the day or the hour of the Rapture, yet we are commanded to be attentive to the season of Jesus return for us on the Rapture, and be waiting and watching. We do this by using watching Israel. Israel is God's time peace. The prophet Daniel became given a precise day count quantity by using the angel. the real day count quantity for Israel began would nineteenth 2010 for the 2300 days. all of us be attentive to this because of the fact the angel reported sixty two shavuot's( years) are for Israel from the going forth of them starting to be a usa. The going forth became Nov 1947. The angel additionally reported after sixty two shavuot's there will be 2300 days. Israel is now at sixty 3 years/Shavuot's. all of us be attentive to as watchers, that the season is now, the day and hour is amazingly quickly. We additionally be attentive to that the angel reported that if those days (tribulation) weren't decrease short , no Flesh would proceed to exist. those days are being shortened NOW. We the believer would desire to be taken out of how, in the previous the Lawless one would nicely be printed. Watch the Moon and the Heavenly sky's In Gen a million:14 Then God reported " enable there be lighting fixtures fixtures contained in the expanse of the heavens to split the day from the night, and enable them to BE FOR signs and indications AND FOR SEASONS and FOR DAYS and FOR YEARS. the 1st ingredient they have been reported to be for different than days and nights is signs and indications and then SEASONS. My pal ; the Rapture can happen actually at any 2nd from right here on out ! The Bible tells us to wish that we be stumbled on worth to stand in the previous the son of guy ( Jesus) Repent , confess and be waiting. Peace to you a pal in Christ Jesus

I was raised in an apostolic pentacostal church. I didn't surender my life to him by way of repenting, baptism in Jesus name, and later being filled with the Holy Ghost until mid to late teens. I am still in the same faith. I had been told about the rapture many times growing up, but became a fan of end-time bible prophesy and searched the scriptures concerning it. found it biblically correct and built upon my faith
