Hey everyone I am currently holding a club and we sing for charity. So we feel that we need a sponsor to help us out. Our goals are to sing at city hall to gain as much money we can get for charity (Africa, children in need, etc.). Where can I find a sponsor as in how should I approach. How can I sing at City Hall and other places where there will probably be many generous benefactors?

First, you need to think a bit more professionally about this. You need to establish a connection with an organization that will accept your donation for Africa, children in need, etc. This organization will need to write a letter for you to show to potential sponsors that shows you have established contact with them and that you will be accepting any donations raised on its behalf. Then you need to approach officials at cityhall or a mall or wherever else to propose a concert, let them know what you will be singing and what accommodations you might need, a time and date for your club to sing, etc. You need to have someone at the concert who can accept donations for your charity while your club sings, and a copy of the letter from the organization that is going to accept the donation for the cause. During all of this, you need to present yourself formally, with plenty of references (names and phone numbers ) of parents and teachers who will be happy to vouch for your character and your abilities to responsibly manage donations and get them to the charity quickly.

Rather than ask for money for Africa, ask each guest to bring a pack of pencils to your concert. Donate them to The Pencil Project.

***Then you know that your donation will really be helping kids get an education and out of poverty.
