The answer is YES but the few who know it are so so few in truth and because of that their are people on this MA board that will thumb you down because they have not LIVED or seen what I have seen to know the truth.

When you have walked a mile in my shoes then judge me, but until then judge ye not lest ye be judged.

I know Chi (ki) exists. Wether there is a Dim Mak death touch is possible but not they way it is usually explained. Pressure points are very real and if damaged could lead to sickness and or death. they can also be used for healing such with acupuncture and shiatsu or Reiki.

These are examples of Ki or Chi in use. Again only a rare few can actually harness and use this.

i expect a few thumb downs for this statement but it is from people that have never had the fortune to see what I have seen and done what I have done so judge all you want it does not make you correct!

Those of you that know I speak the truth know it!

You can not well know with only an explanation of words and letters, but seeing as this is a book, this ought to be sufficient. The dim mak found in Chen Tai Chi Chuan classifies 108 vital points, of which there are thirty six main deadly points. Point Zheng Qi is found 4.5cm above the nipple, approximately. Having been struck, death follows in twelve days. Point Hei Hu is found near the solar plexus. Having been lightly, the victim appears to be drunk, and death comes in 100 days. However, a strong blow causes instant death. Poin Fei Di is situated almost directly over the heart. When struck with force, on has nine days to live. Like most knowledge on dim mak, much of what I have reported is hearsay and legend. What is more, there are few willing to test such claims. There may be some legitimate masters out there, but for your purpose, I doubt it is worth a trip to a remote mountain monastery in china.

Well it is possible to kill someone with one strike but its not exactly a pressure point, its just that pressure points are sometime located on vulnerable targets so there are points that you can strike to do serius damage, but some people take this theory way way WAY too far, even the old teacher and masters don't make some of the claims people make today

It depends anyone will tell you some pressure ponits work the clicle, eyes the simple stufff and yes if you hit someone hard enough you can kill them but Dim Mak as a whole does not work. They advertise the whole "We're to deadly for competition" approach which is complete bull. Look at all the traditional chinese systems in the early UFC or the Kung Fu guy v.s. MMA guy match on Sherdog.com That match had no rules and the kung fu guy still lost easy. So es some pressure points work but, alot of them are complete bull

yes pressure points are real.

Most pressure points are usually central nerves or veins. compare it to cutting part of the circuitry of an electrical system. you'll cause the rest of the system to overload resulting in a black out. It's basic human anatomy.

As for the dim mak.
Yes it is real hitting the chest at a certain point can result in cardiac arrest.
Given the perfect circumstances.
and what's the chance of getting the perfect circumstances....

Dont know what karate some were exposed to but all the methods I have studied detailed the pressure points and strikes and why they are not generally used.

Most vital points aren't any big secret boxers know them as well.BRIDGE OF THE NOSE
PHILTRUM
CAROTID ARTERY
BRONCHIAL NERVES
MASTOID COMPLEX
3RD 7TH AND 11TH VERTEBRAE
HEART CAVITY
SOLAR PLEXUS
LIVER
SPLEEN
2 INCHES BELOW NAVEL
1ST 3RD 11TH RIB
To get the desired result one knuckle 2 knuckle spear hand sword hand strikes are used to localize and focus the force.
You notice I didn't mention the obvious groin eyes trachea everybody knows those.

Wearing gloves makes pressure point striking useless as the force is to scattered you must be precise and right on.A good beggining is to do 300 to 500 finger tip push ups every day.

Some people could die from these strikes but usually it causes immobilization or unconciousness.Angle of the strike also plays a part .

Pressure points are real, and they can be manipulated to cause pain. However, the dim mak theory is a myth, it's as proven as is bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster.

After studying gung fu for many years i can tell you that this is true. It works more or less like the impact injuries you may sustain from say a car crash. Damage to the internal organs may not be evident straight away but manifest themselves at a later time in the way of failure.
