At least your asking questions. But if you think any traditional religion is right so to speak. You are not allowing for them, to improve on themselves and update themselve. Any field of study, has to advance in time with new research, and the developing of better and more useful ideas and knowledge. Religions tend not to want to do the same, so they tend to be behind the times, and not as effective as they could be. We need religious institutions, that are open to the best in spiritual ideas, from all sources including individuals. Then maybe, these religions would be more effective in elevating people's moral character, so that people would be tackling the serious problem in the world today, and creating a better world tomorrow.

There is no looking the other way for me, because I don't care what somebody believes in. I judge them based on the content of their character, not their belief or disbelief in god.
However, such as the case here in R&S, when a question is asked regarding God and is open to an answer, I give one based on my opinion as an Atheist.
