My hair is very nice and smooth ontop and healthy.
but the undernearth layers of my hair are all dead and frizzy, i've tried everything to get rid of it!
has this happened to anyone else and who works best to make it smooth and nice like the hair ontop?
thx. [:

my hair is the same way from all the straightening and dying...it was dry as hay. for shampoo and conditioner i'd suggest the original herbal essenses replenishing conditioner with rose hips, vitamin e and jojoba...its also the best smelling shampoo ever. that does the trick quick. also, cherry almond bark is good. perhaps a protein pack or hot oil treatment...hair mayonaise and cholesterol work good too. shiny serums are good if you want shiny hair, but they dont really moisturize...just grease it up a bit. i like garnier stuff...theres something called soft curl cream by garnier and i dont use it for curls...it makes my hair feel so moisturized yet light. be aware that a little goes a long way...and mix it with a little bit of water.

Joico K-pak conditioner is the best. It can be used daily or as a deep conditioning hair mask.

Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo is the best clarifying shampoo for removing product buildup so hair can absorb a deep conditioning treatment fully.

Make sure to rinse your hair completely from the back & from the front.

that is so weird! it's sorta the opposite for me. i think you need to see a barber and ask her. but meanwhile.

NO
straightening your hair
blowdrying it
doing anything to it involving heat
