I know I am!

The law went into effect Thursday and is intended to make life difficult for illegal immigrants in Oklahoma.

The message is: "If you're an illegal immigrant, you are not welcome here in Oklahoma."

The new law restricts the ability of illegal immigrants to obtain government IDs or public assistance. It also gives police authority to check the immigration status of anyone arrested, which can lead to deportations.

20 million illegals in this country is quite enough.

OTHER STATES....ARE YOU LISTENING??
We need to make coming here illegally less attractive
and Oklahoma has taken a step in the right direction.

I'm not!
How can anybody be happy with it?
Can you imagine how many people are suffering from this?
We already have a good life here, we already have what we need and probably more...Why should you kick people out who just want to have a better life like us, they actually WORK for it...
I know a lot of people who are losing a lot from the new law.
Dont be selfish and think of the positions others are in!

First of all, we have tons of illegals in oklahoma. whether it be farming in western and central okla, or logging and the poultry industry in southeastern okla. we have lots of illegals and now their sweeting bullets. :) To the guy who doesnt know anything about Oklahoma. We have the most miles of man made lake shores in the nation, were the horse capital of the world, we have the most diverse eco system in the nation (High plains mesas to gulf coast swamps and alligaters. Oklahoma is a great place to live, so long as you dont require the big city life.

I just became American citizen, I'm very happy. But I do not agree, for some people been illegal here, I was studding in Mexico, for a year. And the immigration laws are very difficult
If they want to be here, get papers or go home. But is everything politics, Mexican gov want their people to be here, sending $$, but no good for the rest of us, because we pay more taxes: school (I do not have kids), hospitals, etc
Thanks.......Good bless America

I only wish Texas would pull its head out and follow suite.

The only thing bad is we will have more of them here know, free medical etc.....

I am one Texan that will not support their cause,if your not legal then you do not work for me. Don't want ya,or need ya!GO HOME!!!!!!!

All of us Texans need to pull together and contact the heads with how we feel about this crap and maybe we can change ours to match Oklahoma's law.

I do not mind anyone bettering themselves, but be legal and follow the rules. I have had my last car reck from an illegal not having a license or insurance and me paying out the nose for insurance. I have a cure for this,I will fall out of my car and sue my insurance myself.

I am thrilled! Okies are OK in my book. Now if the rest of the states would grow a set and do the same, problem solved! It took a great deal of thought and perfect wording to thwart the Nazi ACLU!

More than OK! Now if the boneheads in Austin, Texas would wake up and do the same!!!

Funny thing is, they claim they are not here to sponge on our social programs, yet watch them run somewhere else like roaches on extermination day when they see the free lunch being yanked away! Gotta love it.

I am very very very very (is there enough) happy...

My wildest dream is that these laws propagate to other states all the way to California, where the situation is past emergency, because I don't imagine so many illegals in OK.

Very much so. On the short term, there will be an economic bump as the illegal aliens abandon the homes they bought on fake I.D. But the long term benefit will be a lower crime rate, lower narcotics problems, and a more peaceful citizens group.
