Check your states website. In Maine we are able to get 1 copy from each of the 3 credit reporting agencies in a 12 month period. Totally free. Alot of states do offer this. You can also check the 3 agencies websites to see if your state is listed as offering them for free.

Only AnnualCreditReport.com is free.
FreeCreditReport.com requires you to sign up for their monitoring services. and require a credit card. They also don't make it easy to cancel after the 30 day trial.
