thought my question was within the bounds of good taste, and less than 2% that took offense to the question. How come Yahoo allows less than 2% of the participants to dictate to the other 98% of us?
By the way, if you think I posted this question yesterday, you are right, but someone had that question also deleted before I had a chance to read the answers, so here I am again. Do you think it was Yahoo that didn't like my second question, or was it someone with a personal problem that can object anytime he/she pleases and get the complete cooperation of Yahoo?

I think it only takes one person to violate you and have your question or answer deleted. Yahoo wants you to think that they will investigate to see if rules were broken but they dont. If your violated....your answer/question is GONE.

I think Yahoo has a system. If more than 1 or 2 persons complain, then they automatically take it down. I responded to a question once...the question asked "What is the coolest way to commit suicide?" I suggested death by chainsaws...this was joking of course but hey, I thought it was "cool". I got a violation but yet the question stayed up. The only answers that seemed to be allowed were the ones saying "no don't commit suicide".

I then sent Yahoo an email about it asking for some detailed information and suggested that the question should have been addressed, not my answer. I didn't feel my answer violated any rules. I got a lovely automated email back a couple of days later.

I don't believe there is any real people who take action. It's all set up in their system to take actions based on number of complaints. This is somewhat troublesome.

What was the question?
How do you know that less than 2% complained? Were you told this?

I can't say because you didn't tell us what the question was.

We ALL deal with this, you know.

There are atheists who report anything from a Christian, and vice versa, I believe. There are Muslims who report anything that is anti-Islamic.

You asked this same question 6 times in different categories.
You've asked another question about men preferring really young girls.....5 times, I believe.
Then you asked about bald men..the same question 5 times or so.
That is considered spam, I think.

It can cause your stuff to be deleted. Spam violates community guidelines.

You got blind sided - it happens. It's happened to me, to other posters who are high level, all it takes is one person with a ax to grind against you or one with thinned skin.

The Yamster! (Y!A mods) have about 3 seconds to review your question and make a decision, and it's final. No chance of appeal.

Yahoo doesn't even read the questions and answers, they just send out a violation notice. Just takes a few people to take away everyone's freedom..

I didn't see your question but I do have a problem with your math. Where do you get 98%? It is possible that thousands of people read your question and did not respond.

It's just like our political society. 2% get to dictate how the rest of us should act and think.
