If sporks came from forks, why are there still spoons?

Ha.

Too young?

I come from Hell--but the cartographers accidentally messed up; they wrote "Iowa" on maps.

What ELSE do you expect me to do, in this spork-forsaken place!?

sporks prove an intelligent designer.

"this spoon is alright, but it would be even better if it had a fork on it"

Sporks are a transitional species between spoons and forks.

When kitchen utensils evolve, it doesn't necessarily eliminate the founding species. While the spork may have filled a certain evolutionary niche in the dining experience, the spoon remains vitally important in certain situations, mostly breakfast related. However, the two varieties often compete for the same resources, and therefore they will never be found in the same place setting.

Umm... sporks, forks and spoons aren't a species. They are man-made from minerals from the earth. No wonder you don't understand the evolution of species....

Aren't you a bit young to be dealing alcohol young lady?

Good point. Well, I'm not drinking alcohol anyway. It's Red Bull. And if I had to live in Iowa all riddled with sporks, I'd probably drink too. In fact, I think I'll have another.
