There were other people on earth. When Cain was exiled from the garden and went to the land of Nod, the next verse has him with a wife.

When the Bible was recorded (by Moses from oral tradition), females didn't count. A man who had 7 children would say he had '4 sons'. In a family history, younger sons didn't count much either. As this story had been handed down for several centuries, it can be assumed that the only names that remained were the important ones. Cain was the first born. Abel was faithful. Seth inherited in the end. There were probably other children running around who just didn't leave much of a mark on prosperity. Much as you know the names of the Ceasars, but not the names of their soldiers.
As Adam and Eve were genetically perfect, there was no need for an incest taboo. That came later with mutations. So it is quite possible that Cain, Seth, and all the others had wives of their sisters. Also, before you ask, Cain had his wife before he was kicked out.

First of all there were people before Adam And Eve. In Gen 1:28 it says to replenish the Earth, you can't replenish something that didn't already exist. In Gen 1:27 God makes man and woman yet Adam isn't created until Gen. 2:7 and Eve in Gen. 2:18-23. Most Christians Say that Gen. 2 is the details of Gen 1, but read it closely and you will see that God first created man and woman at the same time in His image. A little later he created Adam and then later Eve. The human creation in chapter 1 & 2 are different situations, not the same. Now when Cain was thrown out he was afraid that the other people would slay him Gen. 4:12-16 also proving that there were other people. Now I am going to do another big no-no in the church world and step out of the Bible to other scriptures for proof. In the "1 Book of Adam and Eve" 74:6 it tells us that Cain had a twin sister named Luluwa whom he later married, in chap. 75:11 it tells us of the births of Abel and another daughter named Aklia. In "2 Book of Adam and Eve" 2:3 it tells us of Seth and he marries Aklia. So Luluwa was Eves daughter and Cains sister and wife. Adam and Eve only had five children, Cain, Luluwa, Abel, Aklia, and Seth. If Christians would be willing to read scriptures other than the Bible they would find the answers, but churches have them convinced not to do this. Feel free to check out my anti-church pro God website for other controversial topics.
Hope this helps

Gen 4:11-12, As a punishment for killing Abel, God says Cain will be "a fugitive and a vagabond." Yet in just a few verses (Gen 4:16-17) Cain will settle down, marry, have a son, and build a city. This is not the activity one would expect from a fugitive and a vagabond.
Cain is worried after killing Abel and says, "Every one who finds me shall slay me." This is a strange concern since there were only two other humans alive at the time -- his parents!
Genesis 4:17
And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
"And Cain knew his wife." That's nice, but where the hell did she come from? The Bible doesn't mention any of Cain's sisters. Well, maybe he married his mom, or maybe God pulled another creation over in the next county. In any case, Cain and the mysterious Mrs. Cain have a son (another blue cigar!). His name is Enoch and he builds a city (population 3).
Although the Bible doesn't say, Joseph Smith (mormon) provided the answer in "The Inspired Version" of the Bible, which was his very own "translation". Here's what it says:
And it came to pass, that Cain took one of his brother's daughters to wife, and they loved Satan more than God. – Gen.5:13
So according to Joseph Smith (and he ought to know!) Cain married one of his nieces. He doesn't say, though, which of Cain's brothers was Mrs. Cain's father.

Well, let's think about this.
A human female today is fertile for about 35 to 40 percent of her life. Adam lived 925 years...if we assume Eve lived about the same number of years, she could have been fertile for 300 to 400 years. If they enjoyed sex, the two of them could have easily produced over 200 children...they didn't have condoms in those days! The bible only mentions three by name (Cain, Abel, and Seth), but it does say that Adam produced "sons and daughters".

Time to reread Genesis.
Besides Cain and Abel, the Bible mentions Seth as a son of Adam and Eve (Genesis 4:25).
Obviously Adam and Eve also had two daughters (wife for Cain, and wife for Seth), and possibly other children.

So why is it written in (Gen.3:20) that Eve was the mother of all living?
Because it was God’s plan, umbilical cord to umbilical cord would be born Jesus Christ.
Please share this study arrangement with others.

The Bible also speaks of Adam and Eve's other son, Seth. Seth is the son that kept the good blood line going. Jewish tradition says that Adam and Eve had daughters and other sons as well.

If only people would read the whole story......
Adam and Eve had Cain, then Abel. Cain killed Abel. Sometime later they had Seth. Then they had sons and daughters.
Genesis 5:3,4- And Adam lived on for a hundred and thirty years. Then he became father to a son in his likeness, in his image, and called his name Seth. And the days of Adam after his fathering Seth came to be eight hundred years. Meanwhile he became father to sons and daughters.
Cain married one of his sisters or nieces.

The Bible mentions only 5 by name...there were more brothers and sisters.
Ge 5:4...And the days of Adam after his fathering Seth came to be eight hundred years. Meanwhile he became father to sons and daughters.
Seth here mentioned was also a son of Adam...5 were mentioned by name.
