I love winter weddings! You should have your color themes as white and light blue, or something along those lines. Try something like ice sculptures and plastic icilcles you could hang from the wall. My sister had a winter wonderland wedding and she had the flower girl put fake snow on the isle instead of roses. It was very cute. Do lots of sparkles and blue lights. Instead of a limo, have a horse-drawn carriage! I don't know where you live but I think that a lot of major-ish cities have places that you can rent something like that. It will be a blast! My sister's wedding was amazing.
Here's a picture of my sister's after party to give you some ideas:

Here's a cute dress, though it might be a little too much...

Hi and congratulations!
Personally, I am not a fan of any kind of themes. I think the theme for a wedding...is, well, a wedding!
Christmas is already a beautiful time of year. I would steer away from ANY kind of Christmas theme. I would choose non-Christmas colors....say icy blue (or royal blue) and silver and work with that. You can do so many pretty things.
~ Simply get clear glass bowls and fill them with some "glass vase gems" and float some candles in your "colors" in them.
~ Another easy centerpiece is to get clear glass bowls OR cylinder vases and fill them with small ornaments in your "colors". Put out a few votives next to it! Easy, elegant and inexpensive.
~ Get small bud vases and use a single rose (now, this COULD be red, if you want) with some greens and then a few votives next to it.
~ You could also use mini poinsettia plants on the tables as centerpieces.
~ You can also go with the "icy" or "snowflake" theme, if you really want a theme.
Good luck!

We were married the Saturday before Christmas in my home church
they had ordered poinsettias and said we could use them if we unboxed them
so we put out 300 (times $7 ea) and saved a TON on floral
not to mention the drop jaws in the congregation who had not
thought of it before
in the next three years - there were 5 more Christmas weddings - and none in June!! LOL
all the best!

my cousin the other day was talking about how last year she went to a xmas time wedding. every table had a minature xmas tree as (like the kind you find at wal-mart for 10 dollars) that is about two feet tal. no decorations except white lights on the trees.
anything without santa claus ans etc would be perfect. i think winnter wonderland is a great theme. you could even give out hot choclate as the guests leave the reception since it will be so cold out.

red, silver, and white. have trees with icicles and lots of sparklies. like sparkly snowflakes, etc. a winter wonderland theme. have white lights on trees everywhere- that is so pretty! decorating will be easier and less expensive. you won't need as many flowers. for a winter wonderland, you could have many poinsettias, too, those are inexpensive. christmas is such a family-oriented holiday and it's a wonderful time to have a wedding, make it super christmas-ey. i hope that's not too many different ideas. :)

being relaxed and getting along well with your husband to be. These stressful time is the most difficult. Try to think of your most important day of your life cause you will be the most beautiful girl on that day. Ask some of your friends ' ideas for what to do and choose your own, remember no one is the same. want to give your much more advice but i got married with different culture so it's hard to give you useful things. Have a best day then

a friend of mine got married around Christmas.. she used poinsettias, roses, and any kind of red flower you could think of that was inexpensive. Also used white flowers of varying types. She also used gold as an accent color. he dress was a white with alot of red accents. if she had her way she would have been married in a red dress, but her mother talked her out of it. she used red and white for her reception area. The church she was married in had a nice dining area for her guests. She used red and white plastic plates, cups, with red and white napkins. The plastic champagne flutes had gold ribbon wrapped around the base with a red rose on the inside of the glass for decoration. They used Martinelli's sparkling apple juice as a toast because both side of the family had recovering alcoholics. There were red, white, and gold balloons at the end of the tables. her mother did the catering because that's what she did for a living. They made the invitations with white paper, red accent paper, and white RSVP cards. There were about 150 guests there. i asked her how much she and her fiancee spent for the whole day.. She said less then $4,000 because she had 'family hookups'. I hope this helps.
