Christians: Where were you baptized? In a baptistry, or in a river/lake near the church?

Like the Baptists, my sect believes that baptism must be done by immersion.

I was baptized in a baptistry. Some of my siblings were baptized at the beach. On my mission, I even baptized some individuals in a swimming pool (no baptistry or clean body of water available).

I was baptized in a baptisimal font in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! i know of someone could got baptized in a river! That was cool! it doesn't matter where as long as the baptism is done by someone who has the priesthood, has the authority, and does it right.

i imagine that little ones who coach a favor to serve Jesus and Jehovah might want to really be baptized. in spite of the indisputable fact that, this isn't a range that would nicely be taken gently, and that i imagine that someone might want to ensure that the youngster is definitely waiting. If a baby heavily must be baptized as a disciple of God, then that's a very beautiful aspect and it will be celebrated. If no longer, mum and dad shouldn't baptize them for the sake of being baptized, because their baptism gained't have any genuine which skill.

I was christened as a child in the Catholic church, but was truly baptized in the Jordan River about a year ago, despite my becoming a true Christian (not just a churchgoer) 6 years ago.

i was 7 years old and it was in my church at the time in baton rouge louisiana,. i was dunked completely under, i will never forget that day.
