Everyone witnesses God every day. There is no excuse for not believing.

The truth of the fact is:

God's power is all around us!
We who see it are not blind to its origin, those who do not recognize God in this universe will find it difficult to see anything else as His demonstrated power I believe even to the extent of God being in front of them demonstrating His power (Which by the way will never happen I'm afraid), because God wants them to want to believe. He gave us a choice and that's just what it is darling, a choice to believe or not.

Quite honestly when we are finally judged on our lives and what we have done on that fateful day, and when those who are sent to the lake of fire and not eternity go. I think then unfortunately will be the worst time for them to realize they were wrong. Yet keep in mind Jesus went to Hell too, so maybe there is redemption to the partially ignorant in hell.

There are so many questions that arise out of scripture its amazing to ponder them all. I can tell you for a fact I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THE BIBLE until I finally believed in Jesus. Then it was like I was reading a different book. Peace out Chick!

I would seriously consider it wouldn't I?

The demonstration would have to be far beyond what a network of humans could accomplish.... that way I'd only have to worry about hyper intelligent aliens trying to trick me.

The thing is, there will never be a demonstration. Theists will keep telling us to believe based on faith. And that's just silly.

Perhaps if he started answering prayers, not just the ones that can be explained by coincidence, then people would believe. Healing of amputees is a good example.

He unconditionally promises to answer all prayers in the bible on many occasions so it should be a mystery to believers why he doesnt do it.

No doubt they have invented some good excuses for his failure to do this though.

Hard to say because so many consider floods, hurricanes (natural disasters) a work of god, others consider surviving a disease, an accident , a potatoe chip with the virgin mary on it a work of god.. I have seen and survived these and still have yet to see "gods power".. why? because it isn't there. If there is a god why doesn't he, she or it knock on my door say "hey man I am god, and here is my great power" and proceed by glowing like a light bulb.. that is the power i wish to see

Starving to death is excruciatingly painful. Your "god" allows millions of children to suffer and die that death every year. How can you believe in a god that would allow that?

All we have is each other. There is no god, there is no savior and we need to stop waiting for freakin miracles and end world poverty. WE need to be the miracle.

Edit: Thumbs down? Yeah let the kids starve and keep pleasuring yourself with the bible, that's the answer!

Like I said in a question earlier.. let it take me back in time to see if what those human beings wrote that became the bible is accurate. For an omniscient, omnipotent entity, a little time travel should be a piece of cake.

However, I'm not holding my breath for it to happen.

A giant hand poking through the clouds above Trafalgar Square would be nice. Some genuine miracles, maybe. Something which couldn't be done by special effects or aliens having a laugh.

I have heard that if God healed an amputee, the churches would be overflowing the next week. Since He hasn't done that yet, He must not care if people believe in Him or not.
I mean, what other reason could there be?

How about one of those burning bushes he did for Moses? Regrowing a limb for an amputee would be nice. A little water into wine? Feeding 5000 in Darfur? Really, I am not fussy. One real life, honest miracle will do.
