Confront her. Gather as many friends, teachers, family, church members, her kids also no matter the age, anyone who would embarass her to know that they are aware of her destruction. Gather unpaid bills, diary, schools essays about her positive self, papers from past that showed she wanted nice things out of life. Show her a photo of herself before and after the use. Have all participates tell her something they like about her and why they are dissappointed with her now yes even her kids. Hug her. Have her admitted to a long term program.

All you can really do is pray for her. But let me tell you from experience she will eventually hit her rock bottom and want help. Whatever you do don't give her any money at all. If she wants to eat then feed her. If she wants to sleep then let her sleep for awhile. But do not under any circumstances fuel the fire by helping her get what she needs. It is really sad that she doesn't even care that she lost her children.

Unfortunately, you cant force her to get help. A person like that has to make that decsion herself. And even then, the chances of relapse are high. My advice to you is to get help for yourself and those children you will all really need it. Try alanon.

You quit enabling her. Dont provide her with a place to stay, or with food, or anything to sustain her. When and if she hits bottom she will come around. However sometimes that bottom is death or prison. The smart ones dont wait that long.
Do some research on enabling addicts.
