none - what matters is weekly caloric intake
eating this little will still make your body burn muscle and eat itself (people in coma need about 1200cal/day)

i'm eating disordered too....trying to get better tho. knowing the facts is the first step. the second is accepting them.

eating anything below 1200 will force ur body to eat away at ur muscle. u'll lose about a pound a day at ur calorie count for about a week or two. about 2% of that is actual fat (MAYBE) the rest is a combo of water weight and muscle. ur in trouble if u make ur body turn to muscle. after the one to two week period, u will begin to feel weak, fatigued, edgy, depressed, angry, isolated, and just plain horrible about urself. eating disorders destroy the body and mind.

take care of ur body. eating right and exercising are not only the most healthy things for u to do but its also the correct way and most efficiant. u dont wanna lose muscle - muscle burns calories. without it ur metabolism will slow. once that happens u could starve urself for a week and be lucky to lose a pound...

eating disorders are usually a result of not only physical dissatisfaction but also problems in his/her life that have built up over a period of time. what helps is taking up a sport or hobby (like art), and practicing such and becoming good at it. it makes u feel like u belong with something and feel worthy and good about urself. we all deserve to feel good about ourselves

keep in mind that there has never been, on the face of this earth, a HAPPY eating disordered victim

Actually not eating enough will make your body hold on to anything you eat. It is best to consume 1,000 calories everyday to get the best results, I know it dosent sound like it will make you thinner but it will. Otherwise you will shut your body down. By the way did you know that your brain is 60% fat and that is fat that your body doesn't make rather has to be ingested. If you stop eating fat you will starve your brain.. I think that you may want to look into counseling to help you with your stuggle. Good luck.

If it's only between the two options, then 500 calories a day will stop your metabolism from dropping as much and will be slightly less unhealthy although I can't recommend either.

eating 500 cals daily is substantially healthier than not eating for 24 hours. the foods that consume have a direct effect on the endocrine system. whole foods have a positive effect on the endocrine system, processed foods have a negative effect on the endocrine system. not eating obviously has a very negative effect on the endocrine system which in turn decreases metabolic function.
