Are there pigs in the Islamic countries?

If so. Why? Why do they have pigs?

becasue there are christians in islamic countries but pigs are rasied in closed farms owned by christians and they are not sold in public..just for the respect of muslims feelings..

It seems like North Africa, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Arabia are mostly devoid of pigs with the exception of Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. They are more often seen in sub-Saharan African and central and South-East Asian Muslim majority countries and Lebanon and Turkey, though. They would be kept for meat by non-Muslim minorities.
