I support your invitations and pray that some will find the wisdom to look listen and think instead of instantly bashing.
There may not be large numbers converted here, but one makes all the angels sing with joy.

Correction: one bridge fell down. Correction: they couldn't manage FEMA funds FOR KATRINA. However, I'm sure glad I live in a modern society that has such a thing as FEMA funds. Would you rather be out in the woods during the next hurricane or in a nice stout brick house?
And why do you separate human wisdom from God anyway? You don't see God's involvement when doctors save lives using the newest medical breakthroughs or scientists send probes to Mars? I sure do.
Reminds me of the joke about the man in the flood. His neighbors tell him to come with them and evacuate, the flood's coming. No, he says, God will take care of me. After the flood waters come and he's up on the roof of his house, other neighbors come in a rowboat to get him. No, he says, God will take care of me. The waters keep rising. A helicopter comes, drops a rope to him. No, he says, God will take care of me. The waters rise further and he drowns. He gets to heaven and asks God why God didn't save him. God says, "I sent your neighbors, a rowboat and a helicopter. What did you want, an engraved invitation?"

So God has never failed you, which in my opinion probably just means you've been lucky ( so Far ).
But you can't judge the effectiveness of your God based one your experience alone, millions of suffering people on this world would be justified in abandoning him immediately.
Put it like this: if I lose my last and only 100 dollar bill on the street, and you find it ( lucky ) and can also use it very well.
Will you thank God for finding it ?.
If so .....then I would be equally justified in cursing him !.

Did god build my house? Did he prepare the food for me at the grocery store? Does he employ me? No, no and no. I and YOU have trusted human wisdom from the time the doctor helped you out of your mother's womb to just a few minutes ago when you posted your message on this website. So tell me, what "word" has god never broken with you? What promise did he make that has you so convinced he is real?
Has it ever occured to you that perhaps your all mighty god was MIA in New Orleans? Or when CA was burning? All I saw were people helping people. Honestly ask yourself who you need to thank for your daily existence.

We're told In the Bible not to lean or trust In man,as man Is frail & weak.
We're to place ALL of our trust In God as His thoughts & ways are higher than ours.
Lean not to your own understanding.
God says that He will never leave you,nor forsake you,No Never.
Ask Jesus Into your heart today.
What do you have to lose except hell ?

It is not real.
Humanity isn't perfect but living in reality is better than living with a fantasy; at least from my perspective. I will always trust my fellow human beings first and foremost because when something does go wrong they are always there to help.
If you disdain technology so much, perhaps you'd be better off as a hermit in some remote mountains.

FEMA may not be the answer, but it's there because God isn't performing that function.
A bridge may fail, but it was built because God doesn't lift us over that gorge.
While FEMA and bridges may not be divinely inspired, they attempt to serve man in ways that God fails (or declines) to.

Just because you feel absolutely 100% positively certain of something, that doesn't actually make it TRUE. Are you really willing to bet MY soul on YOUR opinion? 'Cuz I'm not.
(BTW, I'm sure Hitler felt quite certain about his beliefs too.)

So, you live in a cave that God gave you and grow your own food, right?
Otherwise you trust man's technology every minute of your life.

God and Jesus have shown me NOTHING in 46 years. And Man has shown me many things. Some great and some not, but at least Man does something.
