I am worried for you. Please look very closely into going on a celery diet. Have you ever heard of the celery diet? Neither have I... You can cause yourself some serious harm by going on a silly diet like that. Try eating responsibly with lowfat healthy food. Try chicken and fish instead of a 12oz Ribeye or BBQ Ribs. Good luck... Hope your around to read these.

You'd lose about 20 pounds depending on how much you weigh now..but (from experience) I'm sure you wouldn't want to do this for the rest of your life..and you'd have to ..to keep up the weight loss because your body will go into starvation mode. As soon as you eat a little more..you will gain back the weight so easily. It's hard to fix ur metabolism after it gets ruined. You could eat healthy and still gain weight after that. Don't go under 1,000 calories a day. ...I'm sure you won't die immediately ..not even within a month..depending on your current weight now and how much you work out too. If you are going to be working out..you can eat way more than that.

You actually burn calories while eating celery, which has no calories. So I'd say that you would lose weight. Since you are going to take vitamins and eat protein bars, you won't keel over. Just make sure to listen to your body, and eat something if you feel especially out of it. I live off of coffee and vitamins. I nibble on food throughout the day sometimes.

Celery helps you lose weight because it's low in calories, high in water tastes nasty and dulls your appetite. That diet sounds rediculous. Cut back on calories gradually. It's not the types of calories it's the amount of calories you eat. If the above diet serves your purpose of losing weight and nothing else than go for it. Don't count on feeling great.

There is definitely no reason to go below 1500 calories a day especially since you are avoiding carbohydrates; the quality of weight loss of very low calories diets is too low.

In fact, I bet you if you consumed 2500 calories a day and kept the carbs very, very low and did a little weight training you would lose 2-3 lbs per week on average. This would be quality weight loss.

You'll lose muscle, but now not fats, and then you'd achieve it back the on the spot you started consuming once more. Now go to find whatever higher to do along with your existence than submit questions on consuming random fruits/veggies for 2 days staright.

Not enough to sustain yourself. The food groups work together to help you lose weight. Celery is a good snack but you should eat healthy foods and exercise also. The key is to expend more calories than you take in but if you don't take in enough your metabolism goes down and you won't have energy to continue.

The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. If you want anymore details, feel free to email me. Just please be patient for ppl seem to email me for advice on this, I will reply, don't worry! ~Adia
